Muck Dog WSLL

My son LOVES baseball.  He is the only kid I know who, at age 5, sat through an entire Major League Baseball game.  Thankfully, it is not just a "let's watch it on TV" thing.  He loves to play as well.  This Fall he played Little League Fall Ball where he hit his first home run ball!  Here are some fun pictures from the season.

Serve God and Others

Each night when my husband tucks our boy into bed, they have a little ritual.  After some bear hugs my hubby asks, "What are you going to grow up to be?" and my son responds, "A good man who helps people and serves his country."  So far our son wants to be an engineer who build things, but I think he looks great in a firefighter's outfit!

I always love joining him at the firehouse.

He can hardly wear the helmet, but he sure can drive!

He also had a chance to put out a fire!

But, as you can see, he is still my little man.

Day at the Track

Part of our Fall vacation this year was completing one of my husband's dreams.  Driving a race car.  Not just being a passenger (he did that), but actually have his hands on the wheel to drive.  Thankfully, for my stress level, there was a NASCAR driver in the passenger seat...just in case. :)

We headed to Richmond where my hubby had the opportunity to drive a NASCAR around the Richmond raceway. Here he is getting into the car...harder than it looks.

Our boy had the chance to get into one as well.

Both Daddy and son had a great time.

Me, I was just glad when we were back in our own car and I was driving. :)
